My quilt is off to Virginia!

I am pleased to announce that my quilt "Dead Palm Fronds" has been juried into competition and display at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show www.quiltfest.com at the end of February. 

 

This quilt is from a photo I took at Rainbow Springs Park in Florida.   I manipulated it in Photoshop and subsequently had it printed onto fabric by Julie Brandon of Red Dog Enterprises.   It is heavily quilted and beaded to enhance the Spanish moss near the bottom.   I am hoping I might actually get to see the quilt while it is on display!
