Charley Harper.... Artist inspired art quilt

My little art quilt group chose Charley Harper as its latest artist to interpret.  I knew nothing about him but discovered he often used birds in his work....in a simplistic cartoonish fashion.  I didn't change mine much but decided my tree and cardinal were in a snowstorm as indicated by the beading over the surface of the quilt.
